(hereinafter, “THE ATHLETE”), pronounced in the following terms:

First.- Both THE COACH and THE ATHLETE declare their opposition to any kind of use of prohibited substances or methods, as established in the World Anti-Doping Code 2015 (hereinafter, “WADC”), during the professional career of the athlete, with special attention to the period of support Coach-Athlete.
Second.- In general, the ATHLETE agrees to train and compete without resorting to doping substances or methods, and accepts that any anti-doping rule violation committed during the period of support Coach-Athlete, will be its sole and only responsibility. THE ATHLETE will assume the full consequences, legal and of any other nature, deriving from his or her anti-doping infringement.
Third.- Both THE ATHLETE and THE COACH declare having full knowledge and understanding of the legal content inside the WADC, with special attention to the definition of doping (art.1), anti-doping rule violations (art.2), the Prohibited List (art.4), testing (art.5), sanctions on individuals (art.10), and roles and responsibilities of athletes and other persons (art. 21).
Fourth.- THE ATHLETE declares having full knowledge and understanding of the legal content of article 21.1 of the WADC, related to the roles and responsibilities of athletes, being the only and sole responsible for any infringement committed, in particular: To be knowledgeable of and comply with all applicable anti-doping policies and rules adopted pursuant to the WADC. To be available for sample collection at all times. To take responsibility, in the context of anti-doping, for what they ingest and use. To inform medical personnel of their obligation not to use prohibited substances and prohibited methods and to take responsibility to make sure that any medical treatment received does not violate anti-doping policies and rules adopted pursuant to the WADC. To disclose to their National Anti-Doping Organization and International Federation any decision finding that the Athlete committed an anti-doping rule violation within the previous ten years. To cooperate with Anti-Doping Organizations investigating anti-doping rule violations.
Fifth.- THE COACH declares having full knowledge and understanding of the legal content of article 21.2 of the WADC, related to the roles and responsibilities of Athlete Support Personnel, being the only and sole responsible for any infringement committed, in particular: To be knowledgeable of and comply with all anti-doping policies and rules adopted pursuant to the WADC and which are applicable to them or the Athletes whom they support. To cooperate with the Athlete Testing program. To use his or her influence on Athlete values and behaviour to foster anti-doping attitudes. To cooperate with any Anti-Doping Organisations investigating anti-doping rule violations. To not use or possess any Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method without valid justification.
Sixth.- In particular, both THE COACH and THE ATHLETE will avoid and be fully and independently responsible for the following behaviours, specified under article 2 of the WADC - Anti-Doping Rule Violations, waiving any responsibility or influence of the other part: Using or attempting to use any prohibited substance or method. Evading, refusing or failing to submit to sample collection. Failing Whereabouts. Tampering or attempting to tamper with any part of Doping Control. Possessing any prohibited substance or method. Trafficking. Administrating to others. Assisting, encouraging, aiding, abetting, conspiring, covering up or any other type of intentional complicity involving an anti-doping rule violation. Associating in a professional or sport-related capacity with any individual sanctioned for doping.
Seventh.- The present declaration is valid for one natural year, and will be sign by both parties during the month of January of every new year as a sign of knowledge, understanding and commitment to the fight against doping in sport on the side of THE COACH and of THE ATHLETE.
